This rug pad is all-surface, adds cushion, prevents slippage, bunching and wrinkles, will not stain or discolor your floors, can be cut with scissors to trim to size. A rug pad is essential to keeping your rug attractive and to extend the life of your rug. For use with hard surfaces, use the rubber side down. When using with carpet or other soft surfaces, use the felt side down.
